The Winter Family

Rob and I met in 1998 through a mutual friend.  {Truth be told, that's the nice way of saying I dated his best friend in High School.}  Although we worked together at a local restaurant, sparks didn't fly until March of 2005.  We were later married July 1, 2006 at a private ceremony at my parent's house.
After years of being told I'd never conceive, we were thrilled to become pregnant with Kensley and welcomed her into our little family July 18, 2008.  Named after my Dad, Ken, our 2 year old little girl is a sassy blessing that is 100% Daddy's girl.  She is quickly becoming more vocal and shows great interest in learning her letters, shapes, numbers, colors and can even read some basic words.
We completed our family on September 10, 2010 with Nolan's arrival.  His pregnancy was extremely complicated and left me on bed rest for almost 30 weeks, during that time I received 2 blood transfusions.  His name, which means "Fighter" was chosen by his Daddy, and seemed fitting from the start.  At 5 weeks and 5 days, doctors predicted that he wouldn't make it.  Defying all odds, we celebrated each day I remained pregnant and he continued to grow.
Born just 3 weeks early, he is our true miracle!
I'm 'living the dream' as a stay at home Mom.  Multitasking with 2 kids, 2 and under
is proving to be challenging, but I wouldn't want it any other way!

"I could have no greater joy than to hear
that my children are following the truth."
