Classical Conversations {Cycle 1 Week 3}

I found the idea to make shrinky-dink animal cells several months back and was very anxious to try it to see if it would actually work!

Their little faces were adorable watching them react to their project shrink in the oven.

We also continued to learn about animal cells through homemade pizza!

{Kensley is totally laughing because when she held up the uncooked pizza, the toppings began falling off}

For geography, we talked about the Hebrew Empire, including the Dead Sea.

Skip-counting the 6's

For history, we briefly covered Greek and Roman Gods.  This is a topic I wasn't ready to dive into with both feet.
Some are scary.  Some are just totally out there.  Thankfully we found this pop-up book and that taught us just enough for our kid's age levels.

Relentlessly Fun, Deceptively Educational saved the day, again, with this free Greek God/Goddess Bingo printable.

Also don't forget to print her fun Greek Mythology matching card game!

I purchased Zeus on the Loose from Amazon.  The game would probably be suited best for kids a little older than ours,
so we altered the rules and played it by whoever had the larger number 'won' thus getting to hold Zeus.

 Relentlessly Fun, Deceptively Educational also created another great game that our kids enjoyed; Greek Temple Game

I'm SOOOOOO glad your kiddos are enjoying some of the Greek games I've made. It's one of my oldest son's fascinations. Thanks for sharing the links with your followers!
