Kensley's {Actual} Birthday #6

All went well with the banner/balloon birthday tradition for Kensley's 6th Birthday!
The sign didn't fall down and not one of the sixty balloons popped in the middle of the night.

Kensley actually woke herself up by talking in her sleep a little after 6:00 a.m., so I grabbed my camera and started snapping in the wee hours of the morning!

Best.  Idea.  Ever.  I challenge every parent to a child under 10 years old to do this for their Birthday.

After the excitement was too much, Kensley decided we need to go to Krispy Kreme for breakfast.

{Yes, real men carry pink fiesta plates into a doughnut shop}

Doughnuts are yummy, but doughnut holes are our kids favorite!!!

Yahoo!  We escaped, once again, without deploying the sprinkler system from the smoke from the candles.
After breakfast we headed to Rob and I's most dreaded places on earth... Chuck E Cheese's.

Kensley chose Pizza Hut for lunch; such a wonderful idea!

The restaurants around us don't have a dine-in option so we stopped at a nearby library and sat on the benches and enjoyed the cool, overcast day.

Happy Birthday, Kenny Girl!
I hope today felt no different than any other day.
You deserve to feel loved and celebrated everyday... not just on your Birthday!
