Surprise Field Trip {First Time At A Movie Theater}

Last week Rob's Mom and I took the kids on a surprise fieid trip.
We didn't tell them where we were going.
The only clue we gave them was that it was a place they had never been.

 Kensley's reaction when she read "cinema".

Kensley's reaction once she learned that cinema means THE MOVIE THEATER!
(Yes that's a facial mask in her hand; one of her latest obsessions.)

 Marquee Cinemas has a special summer series where kids get in for free to a particular movie that week.

This showing was for, "Horton Hears A Who!"

 Whoever invented booster seats for the movies is a genious, I tell ya'.

Being the cheap-o that I am, I snached up candy at Dollar Tree the night before.
Talk about sticker shock; a small popcorn was $5.  YIKES IS RIGHT!

This was a wonderful experience for the kids.  They can't wait to go back.
Nana promised a 3D movie soon.  Stay tuned!

I always used to sneak in goodies to the theater! Haha! Glad to see it was a success! Awesome!
